1ST ANNUAL HEBREW ILLUMINATIONS CONTEST ON FACEBOOK

Now that the 2011 Hebrew Illuminations and Illuminated Psalms calendars are in-stock at Amazon.com, I'd like to kick things off with a contest. Here's how you play:

• Purchase one or more of the three calendars from Amazon.com (or bn.com or Borders.com)

• Take a digital picture of you holding the calendar, or of the calendar on display in your home/office.

• Post that image in the Facebook fan club

• On August 15th, the names of those who posted a photograph (one entry per person) will go into a hat, and I will randomly draw the winner

• That person will win an autographed copy of my hardcover art book "Hebrew Illuminations" and a signed 8.5"x11" art print from www.HebrewArt.com (winner's choice)

Here is part II of the contest:

• Everyone who chooses to post a digital pic with the calendar is encouraged to do something "clever" in the photo

• "Clever" could be something funny, endearing, unexpected, etc.

• If you have more than one clever idea, there is no limit to the number of shots you can post for these two prizes

• On August 15 I will review all the images and award the one I think stands out with a signed 13"x19" art print from www.HebrewArt.com. The runner up will get an 8.5"x11" print.

• The choice will be completely subjective based on my opinion, though others can comment on the entries

The only people who are disqualified are family members and employees of the calendar publishing company.

I hope this turns out to be a fun contest to participate in for everyone, but more importantly, I hope you enjoy the artwork in the calendars.
