Presenting the "Divine Soul" 5-part polyptych (series) pencil sketch. I've elaborated on the nature of each panel in my Facebook fan club, but here is a run down of the images from bottom to top: Nefesh, Ruach, Neshamah, Chayah, and Yechidah.

Those are the five levels of every person's divine soul, as described in Kabbalah and in Rabbi Moshe Chayim Luzzatto's fantastic book "Derech Hashem" written in the 18th century.

The final paintings are already done, so the entire combined work is 2' x 10'. I'll be posting color sketches on Facebook next, followed by the final watercolor and acrylic paintings.

This was my largest work to date, and B"H I hope to create even more oversized works. Stay tuned!
