"Hashem is good to all; His mercies are on all His works." (Psalm 145:9)

The letter "tet" is the ninth letter in the Hebrew alphabet, and begins the word "tov" meaning "good." Tet is shaped like an open container with a flat, stable base. This is symbolic of an open womb where there are nine months of pregnancy, the same numerical value of tet. Through tet, we realize the goodness and blessing of the new life before it enters G-d's world.
