The "Mitzvot" are the 613 Commandments given to the Jewish people by G-d at Mt. Sinai during the Divine Revelation by the entire nation of Israel, to obey in order to become closer to Him, and conduct our lives in holiness and clarity within His world.

We all have individual choice, and during our lives can obey these Mitzvot or not. As Jews within the Covanent, we must face the consequences of our actions, both in this life and in Olam Haba (The World to Come). These choices are represented by the directional arrows in this painting.

The Mitzvot are "commandments" and not "suggestions," by G-d, and must be recognized as such.
