“Hear our voice, Hashem our G-d, pity and be compassionate to us, and accept - with compassion and favor - our prayer...” Traditional Prayer during the daily Minchah Service

Tefilah, or “prayer,” is our most important method of communication with or Creator, and we thank Him daily for hearing and accepting our prayers with loving kindness.

There is no promise of a direct or immediate response for our prayers, but G-d has promisedthe Children of Israel that our supplications will be heard, and that we will “see His back” (Shemot/Exodus 33:23) after He acts upon our lives and bestows His blessings.
