The letter "gimel" is the third letter in the Hebrew alphabet, and is the first letter in such words as gadol (great),
gevurah (strength), and gibor (might.) Its numerical value of three evokes our forefathers: Abraham, Issac, and Jacob,
as well as the importance of Hashem's presence in the holy matrimony between a man and a woman.
