and we shall return. Renew our days as of old." (Traditional Blessing
when returning the Sefer Torah to the Ark)
The Tree of Life, as mentioned in the Torah, stood in the paradise of Gan Eden (the
Garden of Eden) along side the Tree of Knowledge, and all trees of the earth that bore
fruit.
