The letter "aleph" is the first letter in the Hebrew alphabet, and is composed
of two letter "yud's" connected by the letter "vav". The lower yud touches the earth below, and the upper yud
reaches heavenward towards Hashem, our G-d. Each of us can complete our purpose here in this life by joining
heaven and earth, staying grounded in this world by obeying the Mitzvot (commandments) and always yearning
to be close to The Holy One, Blessed is He.
